Sophia was waving her hand in my face as she tried to get me out of my state of concousness. I shook my head and a tear slipped out. She gave me a tissue to wipe away the tears. -”Are you okay Alexis?” She asked rubbing my knee. I shook my head no then looked up and took in some air and calmed my self down. -”My mom died 4 years tomorrow.” I say almost a whisper. But I haven’t had any dreams of her what would make my dad be in them. -”Honey, I think maybe you need to start taking these pills. This is called lucid and I will prescribe it to you, I want you to take this once in the morning and once before you go to bed. Alright.” She said smiling and handing me a Reform of all what she said that was written down on the paper. -”Thankyou sophia.” I smiled and walked out of her office out into my car and drove off to my pharmasist and waited for my prescription to be filled. I walked around and grabbed stuff off th shelf for dinner and more stuff that we where running low on. I paid for everything and went by the pharmasist and picked up my medication. I looked at the clock and it was almost 2:30. I drove to lilians school and picked her up. She had a scrapped up knee and elbow. Trying to be brave she smiled at me and told me how awesome it was when she was playing tag and feel on the concrete. I giggled and reached behind me and hrubbed her unscrapped knee. *** We ate dinner laughing and tickling each other and seeing whom can drink there milk faster which was a bad Idea cause she laughed so hard making the milk fly out of her mouth. *DING-DONG* -”Can I get it mommy!” She asked with her big sparkling bue eyes that pleaded for what she wanted. I hesitated not knowing who was there. -”How about you unlock it and open it while I’m right there okay.” I said making my voice believable. -”Okay!” She nodded. We walked to the door and she opened it and it was Nick and Joe. I smiled as Lilian jumped on Joe and hugged him and wouldn’t Release. -”Hey Ali.” Nick said happily and hugged me and kissed my cheek as so did Joe but with Lilian in the middle. -”Do you guys want to eat we have left overs?’ I asked Nick looked at the milk all over the glass table and walls. -”Sure…..What happened?” he asked a trace of a chukle in his voice. I laughed before responding. -” Well…..Lilian and I where having a contest who can drink there milk faster and she was laughing wile doing it and it sprayed every where it was funny you should of been here.” I laughed at the end just thinking about it. -”Wow. Man I want milk now.” Joe stated going into the fridge and getting milk.” You went grocery shopping and you didn’t get any cookies!” Joe stated loudly. -”we bake them Joe. Not buy them.” I said patting his back and walking the rest of the dishes to the sink that where dirty. -”Hey Alexis can I talk to you in private.”Nick whispered into my ear as he came up behind me. I nodded my head. -”Hey Lilian! Why don’t you show Joe your new stuff animal!” I said sounding cheerfull -”But I don’t want to-” Joe try to say but lilian dragged him up stairs to her room. -”Alexis…Kevin wants to talk to.” Nick said looking at me. I turn the water off and turned around and leaned on the counter putting my hands in my face and breathing in deep. -”Nick…..I can’t. The last time I seen my father was……when I told him I was pregnant with lilian and I got slapped so hard….” My voiced trailed off and I heard Nick gasp kind of and engulfed me into a hug. -”Alexis…I’m sorry but you will have to sometime talk to him. Please. He told me what happened as you left he felt guilty. For christ saked he hasn’t played guitar since!” He said his voice making a higher range. -”Seriously.” I said my eyes burning and tears brimming the rim of my eyes. He stopped playing guitar over me the Jonas Brothers splitted because of me. -”Yes…he hasn’t they are dusty and his house is clean of course but all he does is get ready and sits on the couch and stares at the tv and its not even on. He’s pail and still has all of his but he just has nothing to do. He’s all alone.” He said. The tears came over and I had not heard anything of my dad. -”He was the one who kicked me out of the house.” I stated -”He was to over whelmed and he just says stuff he told me he regretted everything he said and did. He just wants you back and to be happy again.” Nick said, I nodded my head agreeing to meet up with him. -” I will talk to him, but I won’t until Saturday and you will have to watch lilian so that when we get into a better realationship he can see her.” I stated firm;y and clear. -”Alright. well I have to go and I will talk to you later okay.” He smiled and hugged and kissed my cheek and called Joe to leave. -”Bye Guys!” I waved at them as they walked to Nicks car and got in. I laughed and went up stairs and seen lilian doing her homework.”Need help”

I sat in my bed after putting Lilly in bed and just closed my eyes to reathink the days of my horrible teen years. *FLASHBACK* -”Mom, Dad…..I-I-I’m pregnant.” I said silently and squinting my eyes, I opened one and looked at them, My moms face was in total shock my dads was so madish and upset looking. -”Did the ring not mean anything to you?!” He yelled at me as he stood up walking towards me making me back up in the wall.”Does it!”he screamed. -”Yes! it does.” I stood up for myself. -”Then why!”. -”Its I got lost in the moment like you and mom did!” I screamed back. -’WE WHERE MARRIED!”He yelled back and slapped me across the face. My mom just stood there probably till shocked.”Get out!” He yelled. I stood up and ran up stairs and got a bag of stuff and grabbed my keys to the my truck and ran down stairs. My dad looked at me one more time with the face of sorryness but I wasnt going there. -’Listen Alexis I’m sor-”. -”NO! I HATE YOU!, IF YOU DONT WANT ME HERE THEN FINE IM GONE!” I screamed and walked out of his life. I got in my car as I looked at the front yard my dad was getting into his. I drove as far away as I could possibly get losing my dad in the amount of traffic there was. *End of FLASHBACK* I got snapped back in to life by my phone Ringing. I got up with a slow grunt and picked it up. -”Hello.” I say. With a trail of sleepyness. -”Is this Alexis?” the voice says very familliar. -”Mhmmm and who may I be speaking with?” I aske walking around my house picking up toys. “This is….Tate.” I dropped the phone and all the toys in my hand very confused why does he finally call after 5 years. Hello…hello… a voiced trail from the phone. I pick it up qucik and answer it back. -”What do you want.” I say very cruel and my voice like Ice. -”I just wanted to talk to you and I regret everything that I did to you in the pass 5 years and I just want to say Im sorry its just…..” He trrailed off. I hung up and then went on with picking up the mess in the living room and everything. I walk over to the door and lock it and see a gleam of bright lights in my drive way. I looked outside from the window to see Nick and somone else in the car it isn’t joe, But the figure did look familliar. I just walked away and left the door unlock knowing Nick he would just probably walk right in. I walked over to the kitchen and was beinding down to get something out of the fridge like water persay. I hear the door open and NIcks voice talking to someone a very familliar voice. -”Hey Nick.”I say as I hear him step foot into the kitchen. -”Hey turn around and see who’s hear.”He says in a happy voice. i took a sip of my water and turn to around to see my dad. I spit the water out of my mouth and started to joke. My dad and Nick start to rush over to me and pat me on the back. -”Don’t touch me.” I say codly and gasping for air. I pushed my father away and back up.”Why nick. Why did you bring him here!” I yell. -”Can’t you guys just get along and stop fighting. HE was the one who was looking for you okay!, Stop being so selfish!”. we says yelling at us in a tone of get it together. I looked at my dad. He didn’t look so well. He was Pail and under his eyes where circles of grey, I started to tear up and I walked over to my dad and hugged him so tight he probably couldnt breathe. -”I’m so sorry dad.
