Absolutely. Since it already happened once, your dr will probably keep a closer eye on you. Not to scare you or anything, but yes you will probably have PIH again, and being that you are older than last time, it may develop into full blown pre-eclampsia (protein in the urine, risk of seizures). Drink plenty of water, watch your salt intake and if your dr tells you to take it easy or puts you on bedrest, DO IT!!

I developed it too with my son, and my doctor said I have a higher chance than most pregnant people to develop it again, the good thing he said is that we can look out for it and keep an eye on the signs. I have a pressure checker at home, and I have been prescribed aldomet just in case. It would be manageable so don’t worry too much about it. Make sure you eat less salt and drink lots of water.
