Destiny came home from the NICU after 45 days, and it has been anything but uneventful. She was a 30 week 3 day preemie due to severe pre-eclampsia and HELLP Syndrome (shuts down mother’s liver and kidneys). We are currently waiting to see if we can avoid surgery (nissen fundoplication) by utilizing her NJ feeding tube. She is 12.5 pounds and she is mostly a very happy baby.
