I've had a very very slightly sore throat for a few days, but I thought it was from sleeping with my mouth open with the air conditioning on. This afternoon while at work my throat just closed up, making it very painful to swallow. I didn't eat anything weird, and I don't have any food alergies that I know of. No congestion, no cough. I was felt tired and dizzy and sweaty in my air conditioned office, so I left early. Without thinking to check my temperature I already took some tylenol to bring the swelling down. Do I need to go see a doctor? Could whatever this is be dangerous to the baby? Water is even extremely painful, and I don't want to get dehydrated. Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks!
Yes I'd ask a doctor you could've come across mold or some kind of other bacteria in the air I remember my throat feeling weird at the beginning of pregnancy but more like w/e I ate never went all the way down no matter what I drank after so this is not what youare describing I don't know if it can harm the baby but I'd have it checked out just in case!! btw congrats
