Endometriosis and next pregnancy?

I have had severe and agressive endo for over 10 years. My husband and I had to complete IVF to get pregnant with our son. Now that he is here, I am not having any endo pain. I have opted not to go back on the pill for numerous reasons but not to get pregnant again, at least not right away.

Has anyone ever had severe endo and difficulty getting pregnant the first time then no trouble the second time?

i had endo when i was a teenager and nothing was done about it. it caused scarring and at 22 i had an ectopic pregnancy. the doctor told me the baby got stuck from all the scarring and implanted in the wrong part of my uterus. they had to take my right ovary and right fallopian tube. i had a premature baby in 2006 and im now 6 months pregnant with my son. so you can still get pregnant, just make sure there is no scarring. this can cause an ectopic pregnancy.

Yes, not me, but a friend of mine. She had surgery to clear the tubes, then they tried for a baby for over a year. Then when they stopped trying, they got pregnant with their second child. It’s possible!
