34 weeks pregnant and cant breathe…?

im 34 weeks pregnant and lately i have noticed that when i breathe it doesnt feel like im getting enough air, even if i breathe deep it doesnt feel like im getting enough….and then sometimes if i breathe in deep just right, finally it feels like enough and my fingers and toes tingle….

has anyone else had a difficulty getting enough air? and why is this???

or maybe its not related to my pregnancy?

Baby is squishing your other organs into your lungs. I had the same problem but didn’t even notice it til after baby was born, because I realized I could instantly breathe so much better! Hang in there, try taking shallower breaths. AS SOON as that baby comes out you’ll immediately be able to breathe again and it’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had.

Relax. Don’t worry. This is happening because your baby is full gron and heavy and he/she is pushing down on your lungs so it makes it difficult to breath. Drink some water and lay/sit in the way that you feel comfortable.

your lungs can not fully expand becuz the baby is pushing up on your lungs nothing to worry about, but if its unbearable speak to your doctor.

This is normal and due to the baby pushing on your diaphragm. It will ease when the baby drops lower

shortness of breath is very common during pregnancy. its caused by your growing baby/uterus pushing up on your lungs.

YES! Ugh I hate that feeling and it only gets worse the bigger your baby gets. Try getting on all fours and let your belly hang. Sometimes he or she is laying on a nerve (the tingling) and pushing your diaphragm around constricting the air. When you do this the baby will usually change positions and give you some relief. Also you may soon if not already start to feel the braxton hick’s contractions. Your belly will become rock hard and it will knock the wind out of you.
IF you really feel dizzy and like you can’t get air do call the advise nurse at labor and delivery. They may want to see you or have some other suggestions… but yes, it’s normal.

    Congrats and blessings :)
