Cramping during pregnancy.. normal?

I am 6 weeks pregnant, and I am having some cramping here and there. Some days I cramp, not severly though, and other days I don't. Is that normal?

I'm 5 weeks, saw my Dr yesterday, & asked this same question to which she replied, Yes.

Yes its normal it's your body adjusting to the baby growing inside. Just as long as you don't have any blood. Whenever I first found out I was pregnant it felt like I was getting my period.

It's completely normal, it's your uterus expanding for your baby. It should feel like menstrual cramping but it wont last as long. It usually happens throughout the 1st trimester. Think of them as growing pains!

sometimes cramping can be caused by stretching of the uterus, the 6th week is pretty early for that though. You can mention it to your health care provider, and if they are concerned they can do a blood test to see where you hormone levels are.
