Miscarriage cramps feel like really bad period cramps, and 9 times out of 10 there is bleeding (heavy bleeding like period). They are constant and usually don’t let up at all. This is what happened to me when I had a miscarriage. Pregnancy cramps are the result of a growing uterus and is totally normal. They are very dull and only last a few minutes. It almost feels as if someone is blowing air up in there very gently. Also, you can get round ligament pain. The ligaments of your uterus also have to stretch to accommodate your uterus growing. These pains are felt near the groin and hip and can be sharp and intense, but only last a few seconds. You usually feel these when you move from siting or standing positions, or when you roll out of bed. You usually don’t get these until later on at around 20 weeks, but everyone is different. If your having a miscarriage you will know. It;s normal to worry while your pregnant, but if you have any concerns about cramping then let your doctor know. They will ease your mind. Also check out this book (I swear by it) "What to Expect when your Expecting". It has all sorts of good info on cramps. Best of luck, just know everything will be fine.
