How much cramping during pregnancy is normal?

I get cramps throughout the day and night. Sometimes more painful then others. Sometimes lasting from 5-10 seconds, sometimes up to 30 seconds. Sometimes they feel like full blown period cramps, but they don’t last long. Sometimes they barely bother me at all. I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I am going to a free clinic tomorrow.. But, is it normal? (No bleeding, of course.)

As long as there’s no bleeding, i’d say it’s just your uterus muscles getting bigger. I had these, and I honestly thought I was starting my period. Mention it tomorrow just in case :) congrats!

are you pregnant ladies having difficulty finding a good way to sleep?

I don't sleep on my stomach anymore and i know that sleeping on the back is not adviseable, but when I sleep on my left or right side, I find myself switching position often because my side or hip area starts getting uncomfortable. What about you?

I think this is the worst part of pregnancy…finding a good way to get some sleep! With my 2nd pregnancy I bought a Snoogle body pillow and it was great! I still use it even though I'm not pregnant anymore (my youngest is 7 months), just because it supports my back when I'm nursing. You can get one at Target for about $30 or $40 and it's well worth the money! With my 3rd pregnancy my hips would get numb at night and that sucked, but the Snoogle did help also because I was able to lay on my back a little bit with it and take some of the pressure off of my hips/side. Good luck!
