Can bleeding occur throughout a pregnancy?

Last month I had some slight bleeding which on some websites I found to be a symptom of being pregnant was vaginal bleeding. But I was wondering if it’s possible to have it two months in a row, I took a test but it came back negative. However I still think I could be pregnant. But didn’t know how many months you could have spotting or if some women have it throughout their pregnancy. And if you’re going to be jerks and say I am stupid then don’t bother answering.

If you have had two periods and a negative test, you are not pregnant. I don’t think you’re stupid, I just think you’re not as well informed as you should be ;)

Implantation bleeding is nothing like a regular period, it is usually a few days up to a week earlier than when you’d expect your period to arrive and is lighter and shorter, usually pink or brown in color and it’s very light or spotting. It doesn’t last longer than 3 days, and it only happens once because the egg only implants into the uterus one time. After that, you are officially pregnant.

Vaginal bleeding, on the other hand, is not a sign of pregnancy. If a pregnant woman is having vaginal bleeding, she would need to go to the ER right away, because it could be a sign of miscarriage or some other complication. Pregnant women do not have periods or vaginal bleeding, and if they do they need to seek immediate medical attention.

With all that information in hand, I would say what you’ve been having has been your regular period, and a negative test would confirm that you are not pregnant. That is my honest opinion.

I hope this helps, good luck!

Anela’s Story: Our 13oz Baby

This is the story of our daughter, Anela Hope DeCorte, who passed away on June 27, 2008. I developed severe preeclampsia at 24 weeks and was told our baby had IUGR. She was born at 25 weeks. After two days they discovered that she had a severe brain hemorrhage and she left us night. She was with us for about 52 hours, and they were the best 52 hours of my life.

Thank you for taking the time to watch this video, and share in celebrating the life of this little angel.
