I’d like to know because im pretty much 100% sure that I am experiencing implantation bleeding, and im wondering how long I have been pregnant, and when can I test and get a positive result? Any help would be appreciated since this is a surprise and im new to this. thanks
It can take up to 7 days to get implantation bleeding after fertilization. As for calculating how far pregnant you would be you can take the first day of your last mentrual period and count forward (I know it’s weird but this is usually how they calculate how far along you are). If you are having implantation I would say you are probably around 3 weeks pregnant.
As for getting a test a HPT will probably still register negative at this point. you would need to wait at least another week and even then a negative result is possible.
If you want to know right away go for the blood test. It can detect minute amounts of HCG which you should already be producing. Good luck!

UPDAAAAAAATE!
I forgot to mention that we STILL DO NOT KNOW if the baby is a boy or girl!! They say it’s just too big to tell now, but I am getting one of those new high-tech 4D ultrasounds on Dec. 1st, and we’re not getting our hopes up, buuuuuuut we are hoping that this will be the one.
And the website that I was talking about toward the end is my online Avon store, and the URL is: youravon.com/leticiagallegos

I’ve been having bleeding on and off but lately it seems to be a lot worse. I attend dentist appointments regularly and don’t have any other problems with my teeth/gums, i know its just related to pregnancy.
My question is, is there anything to be done for this to help? I brush with a gently toothbrush and make sure i always use mouthwash after to kill any bacteria that may cause infection.
Argh baby brain, that should be gentle!
Bleeding gums are normal and you’re doing the right thing. If you’re getting too worried ask your midwife or speak to your dentist but the only thing they can do it reassure you.
Good luck and please, the remaining time will just disappear.
